“Interactive Short Film Production”

The aim of this course is to explain about the use of interactive video in art and business life and students to produce interactive short film. The Cinema8 Creative Studio will be explained with theoretical and practical. Also, the seminars about video content trends, revenue models, gamification, sales in the context of interactive video and interactive scenario production. Students are expected to complete the steps for their final projects throughout the semester.

“Series-Writing Course”

This course is designed to teach the students to be able to write a series-episode and how to be impactful to the writers’ room / head writer before they write a single word. The simulated writers’ room concept brings together a group of a carefully curated group of Emerging Writers that have not only the talent to be successful but also the disposition and social IQ required to be productive members of a premium Writers’ Room that they can one day be the Head Writers / Creators.

COP4335 Poddict: Global Podcasting Ecosystem

This course will include theoretical reading and practice about how the podcast is used by journalists and other branches of media, as well as practice and discussion. As a deliverable, students will prepare and release a pilot of a podcast. This class will instruct students on determining the topic, theme and audience of a podcast, as well as the post-production process and the episode’s release through podcast platforms including but not limited to Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and the analysis of the viewing data. The class will offer industry knowledge in an applied setting, where it will be accompanied by academic and market discussions.

Another aim of the course is to contribute to the development of creative ideas focused on the digital world and metaverse.
